What do I wear to class? Wear clothes that don't constrict, but are not so loose as to flip over your head when you touch your toes. Bare feet in yoga, socks in Pilates. Yoga pants or shorts will give you the movement you need.
What do I bring? We provide Pilates mats, but if you have your own yoga mat, please bring it along. You'll want to also bring a small towel and a bottle of water. (Don't worry, we can provide these if you forget)
Should I eat before class? You don't want to go all day without eating before class, but you also don't want a large meal right before. We perform spinal twists and core work in class that can get your digestive system flowing,
and after a large meal it can make you queasy. A small snack like a banana or other fruit, nuts, or cheese and crackers an hour or two before class should be helpful.
It's always good to hydrate before and after class as well. Forgo eating anything spicy, acidic or saucy before class.
Do I have to register before coming to class?
We have no registration fee - simply arrive about 15-20 minutes before your first class to fill out some paperwork, meet the instructor and chat about any questions or concerns you may have.
