Kathy Wurth
Occupation: Stay at home mom.
Hobbies: Yoga (of course!), reading, hiking, traveling when I can, and eating out as often as I can get away with
Favorite Pose: I'm not going to lie - Savasana is my favorite! I also really like Humble Warrior
Least Favorite Pose: Standing splits. Actually, any pose with the name splits in it.
Why did you start practicing Yoga? I took a weekend workshop, and loved it. I've been hooked ever since.
What changes have you noticed with your practice? The longer I practice yoga, the more I appreciate all that it
has to offer. I love that I can work on strength, balance, and flexibility all in one class. But more importantly, yoga has changed other areas of my life, teaching me
to attempt to live each day in gratitude.
I really enjoy practicing yoga at Powerhouse! I love all of the instructors. They each bring their own unique style of teaching to the studio, and I love having that
variety in the classes. I also really like that Powerhouse offers Slow Flow Vinyasa classes. I like being able to do Vinyasa at a slower pace, which allows me to
focus on alignment as well. All of the instructors at Powerhouse are friendly, encouraging, and truly seem to enjoy being there to share their love of yoga.
